**Pursuit Ends in Arrest of Florida Men After Multi-County Chase in Ohio**

Delaware County, OH - On July 2, the Delaware County Dispatch Center issued a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert for a white 2024 Toyota RAV4, initially reported as stolen and involved in multiple pursuits. The vehicle was last seen on state Route 95 near mile post 20 in Richland County.

Shortly after the alert, a sergeant from the Mt. Gilead Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol spotted the Toyota traveling south on state Route 95 in Knox County. The sergeant attempted a traffic stop as the vehicle entered Fredricktown, but the driver failed to comply, resulting in a pursuit. The chase was terminated near Mt. Vernon due to reckless driving and public safety concerns.

An Aviation Unit responded, locating and following the Toyota on Interstate 71 through Morrow, Delaware, and Franklin counties. Ground units trailed without lights or sirens activated. The Toyota exited onto Interstate 270 westbound, then south onto state Route 315, where troopers unsuccessfully deployed stop sticks near the Ackerman Road exit. The vehicle continued onto Interstate 670 westbound before heading back to Interstate 71 southbound.

The Aviation Unit tracked the Toyota into Greene County, where the driver swerved to avoid stop sticks, lost control, struck the rear of a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Albert Seeney, 56, of Waldorf, Maryland, and eventually came to a stop off the roadway.

The driver, Tevin Marion, 29, and his passenger, Darius Thompson, 38, both of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, were apprehended without further incident.

Marion was incarcerated at the Clinton County Jail and charged with felony failure to comply with a police officer’s order, among other misdemeanors. He also had an active felony warrant. Marion faces additional charges in Knox County and from other agencies involved in the pursuits prior to OSHP's involvement.

The incident remains under investigation.
