Fifteen To One was a long-running popular British quiz show. The show originally aired on 11 January 1988 and ran until 19 December 2003. Fifteen To One had a reputation for being one of the toughest quiz shows on TV. The first series was hosted by Willian G. Stewart, The show returned from 2013 to 2015 as a Celebrity version, which was hosted by Adam Hills, and again, in the original format, from 2014 to 2019 with Sandi Toksvig hosting. This show, which is a full episode, aired in 2018.
15 contestants stood in a semicircle, each behind a lectern with a number from 1 to 15 (a similar layout was used by the later game show The Weakest Link). Each of the 15 numbered contestants began the quiz with three 'lives'.
