Lorenzo "The Juggernaut" Hunt Talks Return to bare knuckle and Future Fights at BKFC 62
Hollywood, FL – The atmosphere at BKFC 62 was electric as fans gathered to witness some of the best bare knuckle action in the world. Among the stars in attendance was Lorenzo "The Juggernaut" Hunt, the double champ who has captivated audiences with his raw power and charisma.
Hunt, known for his dominant presence in the ring, spoke about his recent injury and his eagerness to return to fighting. Reflecting on the unfortunate incident that took place in Los Angeles, he described it as a "really, really horrible little weird accident." Despite the setback, Hunt was optimistic about his recovery and shared that his arm is now "stronger, better than ever." He expressed his excitement to get back in the ring and prove himself once again.
The conversation naturally turned to Hunt's titles and his plans for the future. Although he currently holds the 185-pound title, there has been much speculation about the status of his light heavyweight championship. Hunt addressed this directly, explaining the circumstances that led to the title being up for grabs. He revealed that he had gambled with his light heavyweight title in pursuit of the heavyweight championship, a move that required him to put his 185-pound belt on the line.
Hunt expressed respect for the fighters vying for the light heavyweight title, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. He mentioned that he has known both Jomi Escoboza and Jared Warren for a long time and is rooting for them in their quest to become the new light heavyweight champion. "I applaud those guys that have been working real, real hard to become light heavyweight champion. Whoever wins, you're the champ, baby," he said.
Looking ahead, Hunt hinted at a potential rematch as his next fight, although he acknowledged that the decision might not be entirely in his hands. He remains determined to return to the ring and make up for lost time, stating, "Anybody that I get in there with is going to pay for it because I got to test this [arm] out on somebody."
As one of the most exciting figures in combat sports, Hunt's return is eagerly anticipated by fans and media alike. His resilience and relentless drive have solidified his status as a true juggernaut in the world of bare knuckle boxing. As Hunt himself famously says, "Ain't no champ unless I say so."
The BKFC community awaits his comeback with bated breath, confident that Hunt will continue to deliver the high-octane performances that have made him a fan favorite. bare kuckle
