Pros to Proteges - 2v2 Breakdance Battle at 2023 B-Boy Summit at Grand Park in Los Angeles, CA

Established in 1994, B-Boy | B-Girl Summit is the longest-running annual Hip-Hop event in the nation that brings classic and current Hip-Hop fashion, skills and knowledge to the forefront featuring Poppin Battles, B-Boy & B-Girl Battles, Kids Battles, Breakin’ Workshops, Graffiti Artists and panel discussions.

Strictly Bboy Bgirl Business converges on the park for everyone on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 1:00 – 8:30 p.m. For nearly eight hours, the hyped-up event will treat guests to breakdancing (breakin’), poppin’ and rapping performances along with DJs, graffiti art, and interactive dance and artmaking areas. The event will also feature a variety of food trucks and local vendors.

This year’s special tribute to HipHop’s 50th anniversary includes the Pros to Protégés breakin’ battle, Kids Break battle, and Bgirl 7 to Smoke battle with special guest EPMD, Jazzy Jay, DJ Prince Paul, Dezzy Hollow, Jungle Fire and more. Panel discussions will be presented about the Protégés breakin’ battle and the story of Poplockin’.
