INGREDIENTS :
8-12 Cake slices (I used leftover cake, you can use store bought plain vanilla pound cake or cake rusk)
1 pack thick cream
1 litre milk (4-5 cups)
1 tin evaporated milk (160 ml) (optional) 3/4th tin condensed milk
8-10 cardamom pods (elaichi)
half tsp cinnamon powder
Pistachios (to garnish)
Almonds (to garnish)
200 ml whipping cream( 1 used whippy whip)
METHOD:
In a pot boil milk, evaporated milk,condensed milk, thick cream, and cardamom, cinnamon powder.Cook for 15 mins at medium low flame.Keep stirring in
between.Remove the pot, let it cool a bit.In a bowl add whipping cream, beat it with beater for 7-8 mins at medium until soft peaks are formed .Put the whipped cream into an icing bag with star nozzle(this is optional, you can simply spread the cream too). In a dish add cake
slices.Add half of the the warm rasmalai milk mixture on top. Let that soak in, then add the remaining. Top it with whipped cream,as shown.Garnish with pistachios and almonds.Put in freezer for an hour or two and enjoy chilled,
