Ep 133 Edward Jenner Smallpox - Doctors and Surgeons

Edward Jenner published Vaccination Against Smallpox at the end of the 1700s. The lab journal/book is interesting but more interesting is the fallout from being recognized as being right.
The book does not cover it, but the British government is convinced he was right and mandated v*x jabs. I think you might know where this is going.
Another interesting aspect of this early discovery is to whom he became a threat. This power, information, authority dynamic goes on today in nearly every aspect of society and life.
I went a little long and then rushed at the end... but I hope you still enjoy it.
