While China is increasing carbon emissions, everything we do is pointless

Rowan Dean: "Every single one of you people out there banging on about climate change promoting renewables, demonizing coal and fossil fuels and preaching about "saving the planet", every one of you has a hand in tearing Australian lives apart. These net zero policies do have real impacts on real people's lives. You see, it's easy to sit in swish university offices or fancy climate conferences and pontificate about what great and noble work you are doing but eventually the net zero chooks will come home to roost...Suddenly this climate virtue signaling doesn't look quite so attractive. Whether it's a firewood shortage in Victoria, EV stations that don't work, pump hydro overruns, the Germans tearing down windmills to get to the coal underneath, the Swedes abandoning renewable targets, wherever you turn, the net zero sell does not match the reality...while China is increasing carbon emissions, everything we do is pointless."
