“It’s Coming, It’s Coming QUICKLY” | Farmer Warns About Worldwide Food Shortages
Denmark plans to implement the world's first carbon tax on livestock emissions from 2030 onwards. Agriculture is the biggest source of emissions for the Scandinavian nation, which is a major dairy and pork exporter, and the plan is aimed at helping the country meet its climate goals. Cow and sheep farmer Gareth Wyn Jones joins Talk’s Jeremy Kyle to discuss this further.

They'll be sitting in their ivory towers, eating their caviar and drinking their champagne with massive hedge funds and big pensions with no worries while people struggle to pay. We've got a 20% food increase in this country. We've had one of the poorest springs ever, we are struggling, absolutely struggling to get crops in the ground to grow this food to feed people..."
