Digital Cash Introduction in New Zealand Explained: Central Bank Total Control of Assets

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand recently renamed their central bank digital currency as "digital cash". They sell it as being safe and convenient and the consultation phase only allows opposition in the free text sections, with all other answers being grades of approval.
