First zucchini harvest

I collected the first harvest of zucchini in our large garden. 4 pieces. Total weight is about 2.2 pounds.

Nature gave us a surprise. A family of pheasants has taken up residence in the garden this summer. Apparently the pheasants are trying to eat our vegetables and fruits. One of the zucchini was badly damaged. It's not a big loss. More funny than pathetic.

There are fewer and fewer people around us. But there are more and more wild birds and animals :) This is such a strange rural life.
