Question: Is Jesus God?

The question of whether Jesus is God is a theological one that has been a topic of discussion and debate among Christians for centuries.
Different Christian denominations and theological perspectives have varying interpretations on how to answer this question.
Jesus is both fully divine and fully human, and He is considered one of the persons of the one God or “God-head”.
Key passages in the Bible that are often cited in support of Jesus' divinity include:

1. John 1:1-14** - This passage speaks of the Word (Jesus) being with God and being God, and that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus is both the Word and God.
2. John 10:30** - Jesus says, "I and My Father are one," which we interpret as a statement of His divinity. Again, One God. Not separate Gods. Part of the triune God.
3. Colossians 2:9** - "For in Him [Jesus] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."
4. Philippians 2:6** - Describes Jesus as being in the form of God.

Yes, Jesus is God! He was fully man, and yet fully God!
In Greek, the word "Logos" (Λόγος) has various meanings and can be translated in several ways depending on the context. Some of the common translations and meanings of "Logos" include:
Logos = “Word”
One of the most well-known translations of "Logos" is "Word." This is often used in theological contexts, especially in the Gospel of John, where Jesus is referred to as the "Word" (John 1:1-14), emphasizing His divine nature and role in creation.
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!"
—Deuteronomy 6:4-15
This verse is known as the Shema and is a central declaration of the Jewish faith, emphasizing the monotheistic nature of God. It is recited as a part of daily Jewish prayer and serves as a statement of faith in Judaism.
