FSB Raid the Gym of Former UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in Dagestan

Dagestani MMA star Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Eagles MMA gym has been raided by the FSB after a series of jihadist attacks in Makhachkala and Derbent. Gadzhimurad Kagirov has been named as one of the militants killed during the attacks, a former fighter from the gym that trained under Khabib’s late father Abdulmanap. Some reports have claimed that MMA gyms throughout the Northern Caucasus region are now being investigated by the FSB for connections to extremist groups.
