Plot

The story begins with Jeb Stuart and George Custer, two West Point graduates, being stationed at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas. They soon find themselves in the midst of a violent conflict between pro-slavery and anti-slavery factions, with abolitionist John Brown leading a campaign against slavery. The two officers are tasked with capturing Brown dead or alive, and they embark on a perilous journey to Harper’s Ferry to confront him.
