Inspired by the closing statements given By Ted Kuntz, Chair of the National Citizens Inquiry on Day 1 of the Regina hearings, May 31, 2024.

The NCI was born from the need to inquire into the actions taken by the people holding positions of authority within Canadian institutions. At a time when there was a nation-wide crisis event, an inquiry is an absolutely necessity in order to maintain the integrity of these institutions.

Is it possible to trust our institutions? If not, then how do we move forward as a society?
