Mother's Day Poem Gone Wrong

Mother’s Day is a time to show your mom how much she means to you, and how much you love and appreciate all that she does for you! If possible, it is generally best not to make her cry, though. One of these young kids tried her best to create a special, handmade gift perfect for her mom, but perhaps at the guidance of her teacher, did not quite nail it. The poem reads, “Someday I will be big and soon fly away so here’s my little fingerprint to remind you of this Mother’s Day.” Soon the whole family is crying, thinking of a distant day when they will have to be apart. At least they know to cherish every moment! College is a ways away.
