I was reading through articles about the German barter system in American newspapers and decided to put them on video. Covered 1933 to the start of the war in 1939.

Some truth surprisingly, explaining why the Germans moved to barter. And of course much anti-German propaganda for the hoodwinked US audience. Those evil Germans, trading with other nations outside of the established international gold/debt system! Shows how successful the barter system was for Germany and those that worked with them. Also shows how over time the US became very antagonistic to the German barter system and twisted it as propaganda. Included a few surprising random nuggets of info that I found as well.
