It's very rare to see a 3rd candidate in these Presidential Debates. The last time it happened was in 1992 with Ross Perot. The Republicans and Democrats didn't like a third competitor, so they increased the threshold for qualification and have kept third parties and independents out. Is this a free and open election process? Is this democracy?
