COMBAT BRIEFING NUMBER 855

Colonel AC. Oguntoye's briefing on the progress of the special military operation on June 27, 2024:

1. **Strategic Strikes**:
- The Russian Armed Forces launched a coordinated attack using high-precision, long-range sea-based weapons, including an aeroballistic hypersonic missile "Dagger" and UAVs targeting Ukrainian airfield infrastructure planned for accommodating Western aircraft. All designated targets were successfully hit.

2. **North Group of Troops**:
- Engaged and defeated Ukrainian forces including the 42nd, 57th mechanized brigades, and several terrorist defense brigades in the Kharkov region.
- Ukrainian losses: 190 personnel, four armored combat vehicles, three cars, two British FH-70 howitzers, and three 122 mm D-30 howitzers.

3. **West Group of Troops**:
- Improved positions and defeated Ukrainian brigades in Lugansk, Kharkov, and Donetsk regions. Successfully repelled a counterattack by the 63rd mechanized brigade.
- Ukrainian losses: 585 military personnel, various vehicles, a US M777 howitzer, D-20 and D-30 howitzers, along with the destruction of four artillery ammunition depots and electronic warfare equipment.

4. **Southern Group of Troops**:
- Improved the tactical situation and overpowered Ukrainian forces including airborne and airmobile brigades in the Donetsk region.
- Ukrainian losses: Over 640 troops, an APC, five vehicles, US howitzers M777 and M198, three D-20 howitzers, and a D-30 howitzer. Five field ammunition depots were also destroyed.

5. **Center Group of Troops**:
- Enhanced tactical positions and defeated the 24th mechanized and 109th terrestrial defense brigades in Donetsk. Successfully repelled six Ukrainian counterattacks.
- Ukrainian losses: 345 personnel, three vehicles, various artillery including a US M777 howitzer, a Msta-B howitzer, and anti-tank guns.

6. **Vostok Group of Troops**:
- Secured more advantageous positions and countered Ukrainian forces including the 123rd Territorial Defense and 17th National Guard Brigades in Donetsk. Repelled two counterattacks by the 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade.
- Ukrainian losses: Over 115 personnel, armored combat vehicles, vehicles, a British FH-70 howitzer, a 122 mm Gvozdika, and other artillery pieces.

7. **Dnepr Group of Troops**:
- Targeted the 35th and 37th Marine Brigades in Kherson, effectively diminishing their manpower and equipment.
- Ukrainian losses: 80 personnel, 13 vehicles, and significant artillery assets including HIMARS launchers and various howitzers.

8. **Air and Missile Defense**:
- Operational-tactical aviation, UAVs, missile forces, and artillery struck enemy concentrations in 117 regions.
- Air defense systems shot down two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft, 62 UAVs, four US-made Patriot missiles, and two HIMARS missiles.

9. **Cumulative Losses Since the Start of Operations**:
- Total Ukrainian losses have included 615 aircraft, 276 helicopters, over 26,704 UAVs, 533 anti-aircraft missile systems, 16,439 tanks and armored vehicles, 1,356 MLRS combat vehicles, 10,963 field artillery guns and mortars, and 23,008 special military vehicles.
