THE ERAWAN MUSEUM BANGKOK

I love this attraction in Bangkok! I have made the effort to visit here on several occassion's on my trips to Bangkok, the epic scale of the Erawan never gets old, and the inside of the pedestal that the Erawan stands upon has to be seen to be believed. Absolutely stunning! There are beautiful gardens and water features around the back of the Erawan, and a Ganesh shrine as well.
The Erawan Museum is a fair way out from downtown Bangkok, but it is still easy to get to with the Chang Erawan BTS Skytrain station just a short easy walk from the Erawan Museum. Just jump on the Sukhumvit BTS headed on the Kho Khut line. You will also have an incredible view of the 44m high, 100 ton Erawan as you pass it on the Skytrain, just be looking out to the left as you start to get close to Chang Erawan BTS Station!
