Riding the Waves: What We Learn from Surfers
'Riding the Waves' is a full on audio-visual meditative exploration really on the subject of surfing and astrology and life and how those shared philosophies intertwine. I fiirst got the idea for it when I was sitting on Echo beach at sunset watching surfers and wondering how they did it even when the light fades. It is certainly beyond me to be a skilled surfer, but the more I thought about it, the more I realised we are all surfers of a kind, surfers of life, especially astrologers. I know this metaphor has been used before, and is well worn, that of riding the waves, but it really does bear up to scrutiny the more you investigate it. I show that the parallels are there.
Also, i was impressed with the wisdom of surfers, their chilled demeanour, familiarity with yoga and Taoist philosophy so to me it is all fascinating. The idea is when you get to the aphorisms, you slow down and just contemplate the idea, let it resonate within. Then you can apply it all to your astrology or your life as there is a practical benefit, or at least there should be. There does not need to be any purpose at all, but whatever you take from it, that is important.

Regarding Salacia. I use the term 'asteroid' to cover all the objects in space, a TNO Trans Neptunian Object) but Salacia is also designated as a 'dwarf planet' so you'll hear it called that too, because it is so large. When i search using Serennu.com it's classed as an asteroid.
