Hello friends! In this video I showed how to make a pencil stand from a plastic cup and papier mache mass. I hope you like my idea!
I used toilet paper for the papier-mâché pulp. You can also use paper napkins. It is important to separate the paper into thin layers and add small pieces to the PVA glue (white).
The glue can be added during the kneading process, so you adjust the right amount of mass.
The paper should be added until the mass becomes stiff. At this point you can use the mass.
But to make the mass more elastic and not deformed when drying I add putty and any liquid soap.
Such a craft dries for 3-5 days. It all depends on the temperature, humidity and thickness of the layer.
I decorated the pencil stand with clay. Some elements were made with silicone molds.
