How Will You Improve Anne Arundel County Schools?

LaToya Nkongolo, Owner of Work Life Behavioral Health is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor. She has worked in the fields of addictions and mental health for 25 years as a clinician, administrator and community advocate, tirelessly striving to reduce the stigma around behavioral health. She is a Past President of the Maryland Addictions and Behavioral Health Professionals Certification Board. She is an Adjunct Professor in the addictions department at Anne Arundel Community College. LaToya is the 2020 recipient of Leadership Anne Arundel's Distinguished Graduate Award for her work and advocacy in the field of mental health in the Anne Arundel County, Maryland. She is the 2023 recipient of the Black Legislative Caucus' Community Service Excellence award. LaToya is also a candidate for the Anne Arrundel County Maryland School Board. Latoya is a Wife and mother of two children.
