Julian Assange plea deals his way to freedom - was it a direct result of Libertarian pressure, and Donald Trump's pledges to free Ross Ulbricht and Assange? On the flip side, the United Nations announced a new Global Principles for Information Integrity, which is basically draconian control of speech online. Also: the US Surgeon General announces a new "public health emergency" for gun violence...which isn't politically motivated timing at all...
