The Democrat Party today is ruthless and exhibits everything wrong with Washington, D.C. politics that Americans absolutely loathe. This lesson has largely been effective for them, as the Republican Party has been heavily characterized by infighting for the past twenty years. Donald Trump’s win in 2016 cemented an anti-establishment desire amongst conservatives, but some Never-Trumpers have been trying to divide the Party as much as possible.
