Escape From New York 2024

Posted • June 24, 2024: Snake Plissken travels through time to end up in New York City in 2024 only to discover things are far worse than when he fought to survive with the rotten apple in 1982.

Snake Plissken back again streets of rage and fire
Post-apocalyptic New York migrants push and conspire
Robbing and shooting Mayor Adams a jesting clown
In shadows of the city crime's the king wears the crown

Subway tunnels echo screams bodies hit the tracks
Every corner chaos reigns no one ever turns back
Riots lighting up the night looting stores for bread
In the land that once was free now we're bleeding from the head

Escape from New Dystopia no heroes left to save
Streets filled with desperation city's now a grave
2024 ain't no sanctuary Snake still standing tall
In this wasteland of illusion where the mighty fall

No police to save you, defunded and betrayed
Lord of the Flies, dog eat dog is the new way
Masked-up thugs ruling Gotham, cars burn through the night
