Feeding Jo The Moose

While at the Alaskan Wildlife Conservation Center, 35 of us were able to feed Jo the Moose. She is fairly young, just 3-4 years old, an orphan calf (there’s another girl moose her age there too, also an orphan).

Because moose have a very delicate, complex, respiration system, we all had to wear masks and sanitize our hands before feeding her. It’s the only time it was worth it to wear a mask. And was it ever worth it!
