Hidden camera catches escape artist dog

Poncho is an 11 year old rescue dog from Riviera Maya Mexico. Ever since Brent and his family brought her home as a puppy she has been a handful at times. Her personality seems to change from time to time, going from very passive, to quite anxious. As a pup she would climb the fence and Brent would have to chase her down. As time moved on, she still climbed, or jumped the 6 foot fence and became tougher to bring back home. For some reason, Poncho would let Brent get within a few feet of her when she would escape the yard and run down the road, but less thana few feet and she would turn and bolt. Brent would calmly,or course, vocalized very strongly towards Poncho, and walk home. One day while Poncho was out, after her escapade but made it back to the front yard, Brent heard a knock on the front door. Opening the door, Brent was met by an animal control officer. " hi how are you today sir?" . The officer asked Brent. "I see your dog is out roaming the neighbourhood, this is not safe for her or others". Brent explains the situation and at this point of frustration he states to the officer" well i try my best, but if you can catch her she is yours, i am done!!" It was a very tough day on Brent's nerves. Well a few years later, and few less hairs and more grey on Brent's head we have the day that this video was born. Up to this date in May 2018, again Poncho had been getting out of the yard. Although, now she does not run away, she jusy walks around the front yard. Harmless you may be thinking, but Poncho is very protective of her space, so anyone walking near by is not a good thing, for them or Poncho. She is just a very nervous pooch. After several attempt to keep this pooch inside, and not being able to find her escape route, Brent set up the camera. Voila, the answer is clear... Poncho is a very smart and hard working dog. Watch and you will see how ingenious she is, using all her abilities to be free.... to the front yard.
