Today I am pulling out wild grass in our garden. The soil is still loose after long summer rains. Therefore, the grass comes out well. This is manual gardening which is common on small plots of land in our region.

Manual labor is cheap. And it's good for health. Therefore, many people work in their gardens without the use of machinery. Agricultural machinery is very expensive. The simplest walk-behind tractor costs about $1000. But half an acre of land costs that much. Therefore, it is more profitable to rely on your own hands :) This is the style of our rural life.
