Trump says he knows who his vice presidential pick will be

Former President Donald Trump hinted on Saturday that he has made a decision on his vice presidential pick for the upcoming campaign, suggesting the person will likely participate in Thursday’s debate against President Joe Biden.

Trump indicated confidence in his choice but stated that the selection remains undisclosed to the public.

Sources close to the process have identified Gov. Doug Burgum of North Dakota and Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio as leading contenders, with Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida also under consideration, pending residency requirements.

Trump’s campaign is focused on selecting a strong leader who could potentially serve as President beyond his next term, NBC News has reported.
