Obedience, What's in it for Me?

We have been discussing repentance, and true repentance will always bring us into obedience under God's law. Why is that important? What are the benefits? The best one I can think of, is that we can and will be going into the kingdom as soon as we learn to repent and obey God's law, as a nation. I pray this will happen soon, and I hope this will increase your faith in God's word and encourage you to work toward His kingdom.
