Probate Judge Christina Peterson arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer.

In Atlanta, Georgia.

According to Atlanta Police, an officer working an extra job at a restaurant approached a woman after he noticed her crying.

When the officer approached, he was hit in the head by Peterson who "appeared to be under the influence."

When the officer arrested her and took her to jail, Peterson refused to give him her name.

She is now facing felony obstruction of a police officer and simple battery against a police officer.
