Matthew 6:20-21 New King James Version
20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR ONES!!!

I have to say guys that I really loved the story that Karen Pimpo, this morning's devotional writer shared of the very thrifty, hardworking, and scrupulous woman named Osceola. Osceola was a woman who worked up until the age of 86, had saved up quite a bit of money, and to the surprise of her community decided to donate $150,000 dollars to a nearby university to make sure that needy students could get an education. The chain reaction of that was that others donated to that endowment and it tripled in its size. It got me to thinking about whether or not we understand the true value of wealth. That it's not for us to hoard, or use for our own selfish gain, but to bless others.

I think that's why this morning's devotions, this passage of scripture, challenged me so much, and I'd like to share what God has put on my heart on the matter, through this blog share with all of you tonight, and I pray that it helps inspire you, as well as motivate you want to make sure that you're laying up your treasure in heaven, and not here on earth where it's gonna disappear. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn what makes a person truly rich! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they will challenge and motivate you to want to lay up your treasure in heaven, by willingly giving to others so that you are a blessing to them.

What opportunity do you have to be generous today?

How can sharing what you have lead to greater contentment?

I challenge you to think about the opportunities that you have, the opportunities that God has put before you to show your generosity to others and do it. Don't withhold and not be generous, because it does truly lead to emptiness. Ask God to help us surrender the resources, gifts, and talents that He's given us to Him, so that we can be a blessing to others. Make sure that we are laying up our treasure in heaven, where it lasts for eternity, because otherwise it's only gonna lead to emptiness down here. Let's strive to be rich in good deeds today and every day as God leads us.

UNTIL MONDAY:

HAVE A VERY BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
