The History of Radar Hill, Washington | Strange Wineries & The Agape Boarding School Scandal

Building off the last article from Tagaris Winery, I take you to Othello, WA where most of the wine is produced by the Taggares connected operations. Keep in mind, this has 'all' been James Pettigrew's stomping grounds in the past. He was a business partner (Tri-County Producers Alfalfa Cubing Operations) of PJ Taggares whose family owns much of the adjacent property to the Agape Boarding School for Boys on Radar Hill in Othello, Washington on the Franklin-Grant County Line.

This is just some footage of me driving through the former Othello Air Force Base which has since then been Agape Boarding School for Boys. I've always wondered who would think to house kids or even 'young men' in a facility like this. Most of the building are in disarray. This is not simply due to aging and this being 2024. It wasn't much better in the 90s when the Agape school was there. I've never understood that story. There were other Boys Farms in the area with good reputations. Why have more than one group tried to turn it into a Boarding School for Boys? You'll see in the article...radioactive salvage items are scattered around. Does any of this make sense?
