In a televised address on Thursday, the leader of the Houthis in Yemen accused the Saudi regime of "deliberate gross negligence and indifference," claiming it led to the deaths of hundreds of pilgrims in Mecca this year. He asserted that the Saudi regime is "more preoccupied with parties of perversion and debauchery" than with the Hajj and the welfare of pilgrims. He called on Muslims worldwide to demand international supervision of the Hajj. Additionally, he accused the Saudi royals of aligning with Israelis and Zionists while neglecting their religious duties. He stated that US and British airstrikes on Yemen have had no effect and vowed to continue pursuing the US aircraft carrier Eisenhower, which he claims flees north of the Red Sea after each Houthi attack.
