What is Labbaik allahuma labbaik?
This is a dua which is repeatedly invoked when Muslims go for pilgrimage. It’s also referred to as Talbiyah.

Talbiyah is repeatedly said during the Hajj, or pilgrimage, or upon putting on the Ihram.

FULL LABBAIK, ALLAHUMMA LABBAIK DUA WITH MEANING
From the Sahih Hadith from Jami At Tirmidhi Book 9, hadith 18 we learn from Ibn Umar that the Prophet (saws) used to recite Talbiyah. The full transliteration of this dua is provided below:

Labbaik Allahumma labbaik. Labbaik la sharika laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wa-nimata laka wal-mulk, la sharika laka.

The translation of this is, “I respond to Your call O Allah! I respond to Your call. You have no partner. I respond to Your call. All praise, thanks and blessings are for You. All sovereignty is for You. And You have no partners with You).'”

LABBAYK ALLAHUMMA LABBAYK IN ARABIC

THE BENEFITS OF RECITING:

The praise of Allah is one of the best things a believer can do to draw himself closer to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.

HADITH ON REMEMBERING ALLAH:
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa’eed bore witness that the Prophet(ﷺ) said:

“No people sit in a gathering remembering Allah, But the angels surround them, mercy covers them, tranquility descends upon them and Allah remembers them before those who are with Him.”
