The Fox Yaru pocketknife is a scaled-up iteration of the award-winning Fox Suru that was crowned as the best overall knife on Blade Show 2018. The Fox 527 Yaru was designed by the Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes and arrives with many different blade materials and grip options. My Yaru version has a Snakeskin Fatcarbon scale on the presentation side and a PVD coated titanium frame-lock on the other. The blade steel on my knife is CPM S90V that was also PVD coated and then stone washed. My Fox Yaru version also has a very elegant and low-profile titanium pocket clip with a ceramic ball insert.
