To this end, he recommends storing products in a cool, dark place like a closet and keeping the filters in their original vacuum seal. He points out that while the filter's pouch might appear loose at times, it doesn't necessarily point to a punctured seal, as the cellophane packaging can expand or contract due to atmospheric pressure changes during transport.
