Musical Chihuahua Plays The Piano For Treats

Some dogs love music and even try to play along when their owners play instruments or sing. We have seen videos of dogs singing along to the blues or while their owner plays the piano. But it is not often that we see dogs trying to play an instrument. Which brings us to the chihuahua in the video below. This little guy apparently likes to play the piano, or at least knock out a few notes.

Of course, like most dogs he needs to be paid for his musical talents. This little dog is playing the piano for treats. At first, he just runs over to the piano and taps it before running back for his treat. However, he does not actually play any notes. He just kind of hits the piano with one of his paws, more like he is using the piano as a rebounding platform rather than playing it. But he got caught and his owner tells him to go back and actually play the piano. Methinks this dog wants the treat more than he wants to play today.

The dog does go back to the piano and actually knocks out a few notes. We would have loved to have seen him play a few notes. Perhaps a concerto maybe in A minor. You know that classic dog based piece that brings all the dogs to the yard. Did you know that you can use classical music to calm dogs down and in some cases make them go to sleep. Either way we love to see musically inclined dogs in action. It makes our hearts smile. Do you have a musical pup?
