THIS AMERICAN DREAM

I wrote this song over 20 years ago. I posted this version here on Rumble as an experiment to see what response it would bring, hoping to be entertained by some cruel clever "trolling" in the comments section. Alas, no one has bothered. To date, I suspect not one of its 20 unique viewers has even bothered listening to the end of the first verse and, in doing so, they've not heard the lately added, improvised soliloquy during the third "instrumental" verse of which I am particularly proud. The expression "not worth the powder" seems fitting regarding my hoped for insults.
