Polar bears

Polar bears rely heavily on seals for food. Their incredible sense of smell allows them to locate seals even when hidden beneath the snow or in ice dens.They are known to wait patiently near breathing holes for an ambush when a seal surfaces for air or sometime lunch a sneak attack on seals resting on the ice .
