Lake Grant Carp

Only caught one on this day, but at least it was big enough
to eat if you needed to eat.

Lake Grant is located in Brown County Ohio Between Mt. Orab, Georgetown, and Bethel Ohio. It's a small man made lake. Managed by ODR. It's a Reserve. Not a recreational park. Fishing and small boats/kayaks are welcome there.

As for fishing goes. Lot's of bait. Throw netters are out there about every evening catching the abundance of shad. There are channel cats, flatheads, bluecats, crappie, bluegill, sunfish, bass and I've even caught yellow belly catfish from this lake. But it is not easy to catch. This lake is fished a lot during warm weather. Nearly every access point will be fished daily. And it's not over seen much so people take whatever they want and there isn't much getting put back in. SO! Fishing is 50/50 on most days.
