Scripture Formulas in the Sermon on the Mount

One of the most pressing issues for me in Christianity was "What books belong in the Bible?" and "What books did the New Testament use?" These are not necessarily the same question. Here I show Jesus uses books in the Catholic Bible and a book that is not in the Catholic Bible and does so with a scriptural formula.

The books of the Bible were written before any canon of Scripture, so they don't conform to the norms we built later. This doesn't mean I think we should edit the Bible. I do think we should be honest about what's in there and what's going on and not try to explain it away. I keep the personal anecdotes at the end.
