Exercise, stretching and relaxation, by decompressing from the day and emptying their mind to find a sense of peace and direction through the form of meditation.
Biblical meaning of meditation.
Psalm1:2
but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law, he meditates day and night.
Psalm145:5
On the glorious splendor of Your Majesty, and on your wondrous works I will meditate.
Meditation from a biblical perspective means to read/study and think about God word.
Yoga perspective of meditation.
To sit somewhere, isolate yourself, think about nothing empty your mind and open yourself to an unfamiliar spirit/demons.
1 Peter 5:8 says the opposite.
Be sober minded, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.
So as a Christian, we are to spend time with God reading his word. Speaking to him. Asking questions. Thinking. About his word. Not emptying our minds but being watchful and aware of the things around us in order to properly discern God's will from our own desires or influence from demonic spirits vs direction from holy spirit.

Matthew 6:6
But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your father who sees in secret will reward you.
Behind every idol. And Pagan practice. Is a demon.
1 Corinthians 10:19-21
What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything. No, I implied that what Pagans sacrificed they offer to demons and not to God.
I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. you cannot partake of the table of the lord and the table of demons.

But yoga teachers know the philosophy behind it. It's a 5000-year-old religion that started in India. And its main purpose is to bring you close into the presence Of the Hindu demon Brahman.
The word Yoga means union, to yoke to unify body, mind and spirit with the Hindu demon brahman.
What does the bible say? About being yoked.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 ESV
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God.

So, what are the origins of how the world got yoga.
Origins are in the (Hindu religion)
and they received these Vedas Which are Manuscripts by demons who Gave specific instructions to a group of sages.
So, every pose, every position, and every hymn or mantra Was specifically designed by demonic beings in order to open yourself to them which is what they want.
Therefore, every time, when you do a yoga pose you worship a demon. When you worship a demon, you give the demon access to your life. Because you yield yourself to the demon by bowing down for him you acknowledge him as a god; as lord You cannot separate yoga from religion, despite what people say.
Many of the yoga poses and sequences are used to worship specific Hindu gods and goddesses, such as Shakti, Shiva, Ganesha, the moon, and the sun.
