Kizer Mini Sheepdog Unboxing and Overview - BladeHQ Exclusive 10V Blade Steel and Micarta Grip

The Kizer Sheepdog has a fanbase, thats for sure. You can get these mini cleavers in all kinds of sizes and colors. The one that you see in my hands is a BladeHQ Exclusive variant with 10V blade steel, a micarta grip, and a linerlock.

Plus, everything metal on this Sheepdog got completely blacked out. So my knife has an amazing contrast. I also really enjoy that this specific mini cleaver doesn’t have a flipper tab - so my blade can chop freely without problems.

Or at least it could, but unfortunately, this knife sucks - as Kizer just made it so cheap and flimsy, and I always have the feeling that my Sheepdog is falling apart. The stop pin can move freely up or down, and these poorly made micarta scales have already snapped in half.

The only acceptable thing about this knife would be its packaging - as my Sheepdog came in a large Kizer box, with some literature and a cleaning cloth. Which will definitely come in handy as you wipe your tears because you bought this garbage pocketknife.
