In this video we take a close look at the Second Amendment. We delve into the historical context and look at the framers other writings. We will show why all gun laws and restrictions passed after it was ratified in 1791 are unconstitutional, therefore null and void. lets go over each aspect of the amendment.
; A well regulated militia, Well regulated meant well armed, well trained, ready to fight. Militia was every male of fighting age, typically age 14-45 years old.
; being necessary to the security of a free State, These means the could be called upon by the government to fight a war against an enemy foreign or domestic. The citizens were required to have weapons of war. And yes that meant cannons and rapid fire weapons if you could afford it. The federal government did not have a standing army and need to call upon the citizens to fight if needed.
; the right of the people, This is an enumerated right given to us by God not the government, and it was given to all of the people.
; to keep and bear Arms, Basically this means it is mine and yes I am able to take it where ever I want to, And no you can't have it. As a citizen you can have a firearm it is expected of you. You should be well trained in it's use and care. You should have as much ammunition as you can afford. At the time of the ratification you could own a Puckle gun. It was rapid fire. you could own a battle ship and have as many cannons as it could carry.
; Shall not be infringed, This is a very important part. as we covered earlier the government expected a citizen to fight in wars, therefore you were expected to own and use military type weapons. Any law or regulation that hinders the freedom of a citizen concerning firearms is unconstitutional and therefore null and void. Shall not be infringed means that any law that seeks to regulate the use, purchase, carry, sale, transfer, manufacture, or storage in any part of the United States of any firearm is unconstitutional. That does not matter if it is a single shot .22 caliber pistol or a full auto .50 caliber anti-material rifle.
