Putin Proposes New Ceasefire Conditions to Ukraine

06/14/2024 Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed new ceasefire conditions on the eve of a Ukrainian peace summit. Putin said that if Ukraine abandons its membership in NATO and completely withdraws its troops from the four Ukrainian regions claimed by Moscow, Russia will cease fire and join peace talks. Otherwise, Ukraine and Western governments will bear political and moral responsibility for the continued bloodshed.
