Baltimore - Illegal immigrant charged in killing of Harford County mother Rachel Morin
Rachael Morin was a dear friend of my wife and me while we lived in Maryland. We attended her wedding and she was a part of our church while growing up. Her tragic murder has deeply affected her family and all of us who were close to her and loved her and her beautiful children. The Sheriff wants to blame Congress, but the real issues lie elsewhere.
Firstly, Maryland is a sanctuary state that caters to illegal immigrants by providing them with free healthcare and other benefits, which taxpayers ultimately fund. They also receive driver's licenses and tax ID numbers, among other privileges.
Secondly, Maryland legislators have consistently fought against the Second Amendment, making it very difficult to obtain a concealed carry permit. Rachael was deprived of her right to defend herself. Had she been allowed to carry a firearm, the outcome might have been different.
I lived in Baltimore, MD for 28 long years, and I thank God that I now reside in a state that truly upholds American freedoms. It is a disgrace to live in a state controlled by Democrats, where the lives of citizens are always at risk. The police cannot always be there when you need them the most.

Democrat politicians and liberal judges in Maryland courts often protect and defend criminals. Having rented houses there for 15 years, I can attest that going to court is often futile as judges tend to protect the criminals. Living in a state controlled by Democrats is like living in a hellhole. If you can, get out while you still have time. Most of the people standing by likely support Biden and his open-border policies.
