According to the UN, half of Sudan's population - 25-million people - need humanitarian assistance. 8.6-million Sudanese are displaced inside and outside Sudan, including 4-million children. According to the International Organization for Migration it will soon be over 10 million people displaced. Over 15,000 men, women and children have been confirmed killed in the war, but the real number of dead is likely much higher.

After a year of fighting between the Sudanese army and the Emirati-backed Rapid Support Forces, Sudan is facing an emergency.

Famine now looms over the country, with around 18 million acutely malnourished, including 3.6-million children, according to the UN. Meanwhile, there’ve been reports of ethnic cleansing, rape and massacres in Darfur.

In this clip, comedian, writer, journalist and filmmaker Amjad Al-Nour (@amjadalnour) brilliantly portrays the international indifference towards the crisis gripping Sudan.

Please share it. And keep your eyes on Sudan and speak about what is going on.
