Chinatown and a discussion of Noir Film

One of the greatest movies ever made, Chinatown was made move than a decade after the classic noir period. However, while many neo-noir movies have traces of these old classics, Chinatown may be the closest adaptation of the genre created after 1960.

The movie has resulted in numerous culture references in other media, influenced other movies and has definitively made it's mark on history.
