Processing peas

We have already harvested the third harvest of peas in our garden. There are a lot of peas. About 22 pounds. We take the peas out of the pods, put them in a bag and freeze it in the refrigerator. This is the best way to preserve the gifts of nature for the winter.

This is one of the most tedious jobs in our gardening. The wife does this. But she is a courageous woman and does this job well. I grow peas and harvest peas in the garden. This is how our work is divided. Division of labor is the basis of rural life.
